Alvin Lynn "Lynnie" Eckler, 55 of Ewing, Kentucky in the Cowan community went to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
He was born May 14, 1969 to Alvin and Carol Eckler.
He was the loving husband to Tammy Eckler and the devoted father to Caleb and Cheyan Eckler.
Lynnie was a "Jack of all trades." He was carpenter, mechanic, and the "if you break it he could fix it" guy. His favorite place to be was in the garage. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, listening to old country music, an was avid Cincinnati Reds fan, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Lynnie was a graduate of Nicholas County High school class of 1990.
Lynnie always had a smile on his face and loved making people laugh.
He is survived by his wife Tammy, son Caleb and daughter Cheyan Eckler all of Ewing; his parents, Alvin and Carol Eckler of Ewing; his sisters, Kim (Charlie) Dyer of Flemingsburg and Shannon (James) Howard of Ewing; Nieces and Nephews, Shalin (Steven) Smith of Tollesboro, Kentucky, Laken (Caleb) Ford of Ewing, Jordan (Collen) Catron of Tollesboro, Harley Howard of Ewing, and Logan (Celina) Dyer of Flemingsburg; Great nieces and nephews, Luke, Journey, and Rosealee Smith of Tollesboro, River Dean Ford of Ewing, Killian and Declan Catron of Tollesboro and Skyla Grace Dyer.
Lynnie was preceded in death by Paternal Grandparents, Earl and Gladys Eckler and Maternal Grandparents, Charlie and Dean Watkins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Brother Jeremy Cantrell officiating.
Lynnie will be laid to rest in the Ellizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday July 16, 2024 at the funeral home.
Casket Bearers will be James Howard, Charlie Dyer, Logan Dyer, Steven Smith, Caleb Eckler, and Collen Catron.
Honorary casket bearers will be Caleb Ford and Drew Berry.
All arrangements for Alvin Lynn "Lynnie" Eckler and family are under the care and direction of the Price Brothers Funeral Home, 5197 Elizaville Road, Ewing, Kentucky 41039.
