Charles Michael "Mike" Burton

Charles Michael "Mike" Burton, 64 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024, at the CHI Saint Joseph Hospital-Main in Lexington, Kentucky. 

Mike was born November 16, 1960, in Maysville, Kentucky a son of the late Walter Burton and Velma Irene Hinton Burton.

He was known for being a chef at the Maysville Country Club for many years as he enjoyed spending time in the kitchen. He also enjoyed working in his yard cutting grass and planting tomatoes, Mike just loved being outdoors. He also enjoyed finding a bargain at local flea markets and peddlers' mall with his wife Bonnie. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Lou Burton who he married March 11, 1989, and she passed away on May 2, 2021. Also, one brother Robert Keith Burton and one sister Marsha Jandro.

Survivors include three brothers, Anthony Burton (Glennissa Lewis-Overbey) of Ewing, Jim Burton of Sardis, Kentucky and Gary Burton also of Ewing; one sister Julie Burton (John Hunter) of Elizaville, Kentucky. Several other relatives and friends. 

Graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Shannon Cemetery in Mason County with Pastor Greg Grimes officiating. 

Mike will be laid to rest next to his wife Bonnie Lou.
