Charlotte Rose Hughes, born on August 12, 1994, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, was a vibrant spirit whose light shone brightly in the lives of those who had the privilege to know her. Charlotte passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at the Hospice of Hope Care Center in Maysville, Kentucky at the age of 31 years old, leaving behind a legacy of joy and laughter.
Known for her outgoing nature, Charlotte was the life of every gathering, her infectious energy bringing happiness and fun to all around her. She truly embodied the idea that each moment should be cherished, often filling the air with laughter and delight. Friends and family will forever remember her as someone who could take a calm day and turn it into an unforgettable adventure.
Charlotte had a deep love for the great outdoors, often spending her days fishing alongside loved ones or swimming at the beautiful Cave Run Lake. These experiences brought her peace and joy, which she shared with everyone fortunate enough to join her in these activities.
She is survived by her loving father, Ricky Hughes and his wife Lisa of Ewing, her cherished son, Kegan Hughes of Ewing, and her devoted sister Belinda Hughes Bradley and her husband Martin of Wallingford, Kentucky. Charlotte also leaves behind a special uncle, David Asbury, her beloved fur baby Theo, and an adoring group of nieces and nephews: Brooklyn, London, Jasper, Abraham, Toni, Holli, and Marli. Additionally, her best friend Miranda Wright holds treasured memories of their time together, memories that bring a smile even in the midst of sorrow.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Francis Asbury Hughes, along with her maternal grandparents Billy and Ann Asbury, paternal grandparents Johnny Ray and Pauline Hughes, and her cousin Heather Brown.
A visitation in honor of Charlotte will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both taking place in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home, 5197 Elizaville Road, Ewing, Kentucky 41039.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
All arrangements for Charlotte Rose Hughes and family are under the care and direction of the Price Brothers Funeral Home.
