Clarine Carpenter Bevins

Clarine Carpenter Bevins, 87, of Parker Lane, May's lick, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope in Maysville, Kentucky.

She was born August 8, 1936 in Mason County, Kentucky to the late John Walker Carpenter and Grace Mae Rose Carpenter.

Clarine was of the Christian faith and attended the May's Lick Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, quilting and spending time with her family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband James Edward Bevins who passed away May 1, 1996; one step son, Randy Bevins; son-in-law, John Ulrich; four brothers, Homer Carpenter, Herman Carpenter, Clinton Carpenter, Robert Carpenter; five sisters, Lillian Keal, Frances Bevins, Mildred Malone, Mary Dorthy Carpenter and Alberta Carpenter. 

Survivors include one daughter, Lori Bevins Ulrich; her caregiver, Tessa Hickerson; special friend and neighbor, Linda Parsons; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 29, 2023 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Kevin Cornette officiating.

Clarine will be laid to rest next to her husband and son-in-law in the Elizaville Cemetery. 

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday December 28, 2023 at the funeral home. 

Pall bearers will be Chris Ritchie, Matt Ritchie, John Keal, Marvin Flora, Jamie Jolly and Jerry Kissick.
