Eugene Forrest Ross, Jr.

Eugene Forrest Ross, Jr. 71 of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 1, 2025, at his home in Lexington after an extended illness.

He was born September 29, 1953, in Connersville, Indiana a son of the late Eugene Ross, Sr. and Shirley Harmon Pepper.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather Bob Pepper and a brother, Alan Ross.

Eugene was a graduate of Fleming County High School and was a retired construction worker, He enjoyed collecting knives and watching westerns on T.V. He was a United States Air Force Veteran.

Survivor include two  sons, Derrick Ross of Montgomery County, Kentucky and Darrin Ross of Russell County, Kentucky, one brother Randy Ross of Lexington.  His companion Virginia Harmon and her grandson, Andrew Harmon of Lexington.

Also, his faithful dog "Cheetah".

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May  7, 2025 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.

Burial with full military rites will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
