Gary Dwayne Barton, 62, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, August 23, 2024.

He was born on Friday, August 10, 1962, in Carlisle, Kentucky to Gerald and Wanda Barton.

Gary was a life long carpenter and loved woodworking. He also enjoyed movies, music, his motorcycle, and hearing stories from his grandkids.

He was a son, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

Gary is survived by his mother, Wanda Barton of Beachy Creek; two siblings, a brother, Gerald R Barton Jr. of Fairview, a sister, Virginia (John) Lammrish of Ormond Beach FL; three children, Dana (Travis) Litzler of Flemingsburg, Amy Barton and Justin Barton of Wittensville, KY; five grandchildren, Brook (Lucas) Arrasmith, Creighton (Cheyenne) Litzler, Tritt Litzler, Cash Litzler and Alarah Stapleton. One great-grand son, Kaseton Litzler; and also, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his father, Gerald R Barton Sr. and infant sister, Kathy Barton.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville, Kentucky is after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday, August, 27, 2024.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral service and cremation will follow.
