Janice Louise Throckmorton, 74, of Ewing, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
She was born in Maysville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Clyde and Louise Art Throckmorton.
Janice was retired from the University of Kentucky and had worked part time at Ken’s Fresh Foods in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.
She was the mother of Leslie (Mike) Storie and the grandmother of Kelsey McCord. Janice is also survived by her sisters, Suzanne McCurry and Delores Lowry of Lexington and Carolyn Sauer of Flemingsburg, many cherished nieces and nephews, special cousins, Bonnie (Harry) Ball and Pid (Brad) Kille and neighbors, Billy and Tammy Cowan.
There will be a celebration of her life at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Ewing Christian Church with Rev. Larry Ingram and Rev. Dean Brewer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the Ewing Christian Church.
The Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is serving the family.
