Jeremy Michael Abner

Jeremy Michael Abner, affectionately known as "Chubby,"  left this world on August 30, 2025 in the valley community of Nicholas County. 

He was born August 13, 1984 in Maysville, Kentucky a son of Patty Abner and the late Harlan Robert "Johnny" Abner.

Jeremy had many interests that brought him joy. His number one passion was fishing, a hobby he cherished and often shared with his family. He enjoyed hunting and camping, delighting in the great outdoors. In quieter moments, he loved to watch movies and listen to music, always seeking the joy those experiences brought.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Patty Mitchell Abner, and his two sons, Levi Cole Abner and Jase Gunner Abner. Jeremy is also remembered fondly by his brother, Johnathan Reynolds Abner, and his sister, Tiffany Rose Abner. He had a close bond with his special nieces, Darah Fleming and Peyton Stewart, who brought much happiness into his life. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Harlan Robert "Johnny" Abner, and his maternal and paternal grandparents, Charles Mitchell, Nora Francis Mitchell, Jim Abner, and Robert Abner. Their spirits will forever live on in the memories they created together. Companion Betty Mae Jolly. 

A visitation will be held on September 5, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM at Price Brothers Funeral Home located at 5197 Elizaville Rd, Ewing, KY 41039.

Casket bearers will be Shannon Pitts, Hagen Fulton, Bobby Edmond, Darick Mitchell, Dillon Mitchell, and Chris Overbey.

Honorary casket bearers will be Levi Cole Abner, Jase Gunner Abner, and Jonathan Abner,

As family and friends gather to remember Jeremy, they will hold close the memories of his warmth, laughter, and the indelible mark he left on their lives. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
