Joshua Jo Johnson

Joshua Jo Johnson, 27, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky passed away Sunday August 13, 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky from injuries after being struck by a vehicle on New Circle Road. 

He was born November 17, 1995 in Lexington, Kentucky a son of Jody Layne Johnson and Amy Profitt Powell. 

Joshua enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, helping others, and just being goofy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Marie Crain; grandfather, Leonard Johnson; one uncle, Mickey Shrout.

In addtition to his parents, he is survived by his step mother, Tina Johnson of Ewing, Kentucky; step father, Roy Powell of Jeffersonville; one sister, Kimber Johnson of Ewing; one brother, Cody Arlen Goodman of Sharpsburg, Kentucky; grandmother Joyce Johnson of Ewing; special uncles Mike Shrout of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Randy (Ruby) Johnson of Flemingsburg, and Tony Johnson also of Flemingsburg; several other relatives and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday August, 30, 2023 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Pastor Adam Gulley officiating. 

Joshua will be laid to rest in the Olive Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 12 Noon on Wednesday at the funeral home.
