Larry Jason Kerns, 45 of the Hilltop community in Ewing, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026. 

He was born June 8, 1980 in Maysville, Kentucky a son of the late Wilburn J. Kerns and Thelma "Nig" Damron Kerns.

Jason was a graduate of Fleming County High School and a member of the Hilltop Christian Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching Nascar races and was a fan of Dale Earnhardt. He also was a Raiders Football and UK Basketball fan. 

In addition to his parents, Jason was preceded in death by one brother Randy Damron, and one sister in law, Tammy Jones.

Survivors include three brothers, Tony Jones (Kim) of Wallingford, Kentucky, Timmy Jones (Lisa) of Ewing, and Jerry Jones also of Ewing; one sister, Jessica McFarland (Steve) of Ewing, his favorite niece, Lauren McFarland, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Rev. James Ray Hickerson officiating. 

Jason will be laid to rest in the family plot at the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service.

Casket bearers will be Rodney Earlywine, Jamie Jolly, David Razor, Shae Henderson, Marcus Lofton, and Jack Collins.

Honorary casket bearers will be Danny Moran, Dewayne France, and Justin Farrow.
