Linda Gray Watson

Linda Gray Watson, 72 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away August 2, 2024, at her home after a brief illness. She was born June 26, 1952, in Nicholas County Kentucky to the late Ernest and Hilda (Billie) Watkins Gray.

Linda was a retired teaching assistant in the Fleming Couty School System. She was a devoted member of the Blue Licks Christian Church and enjoyed attending mission trips alongside her husband and friends. The majority of Linda's life was dedicated to helping and providing for others. Growing flowers and gardening were two of the many things she and her husband Mike enjoyed doing together. Linda loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Michael Watson, two sons, Michael Watson and Brian Watson (Tracy). One sister, Diane Ritchie (John), one brother, Donnie Gray and his wife Vickie, Grandchildren, Derrick Watson (Brittney), Courtney Brown and her husband Chase, Dylan Watson (Barb) and Ashley Watson. Two great-grandchildren, Taylor Brown and Raelynn Watson and a great-grandchild expected in September, Harper Brown. A special nephew and great-nephew, Josh Gray and Ethan Gray. Also, several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Blue Licks Christian Church, 10301 Maysville Road, Carlisle, Kentucky with Pastor Jeremy Cantrell officiating. 

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation at the church is after 11:00 AM until the time of the service.

Serving as pall bearers will be Derrick Watson, Dylan Watson, Josh Gray, Ethan Gray, John Ritchie and Chase Brown.

Honorary pall bearers will be Alan Faulkner, Jim Anderson and Eric Eads.
