Marjorie Frances Phillips Jolly, 79 of Flemingsburg, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington after a sudden illness. She was born in Nicholas County, Kentucky on January 26, 1941 to the late Grover Curtis and Mary Jenkins Phillips.
Marjorie had worked at the U.S. Shoe plant in Flemingsburg and Fleming County Hospital. She was of the Church of God faith, a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and working puzzle books.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Neal "Rasty" Jolly, her son Mark Jolly, two sisters; Martha Lee Jones and Emily Katherine Williams and her son-in-law Marty Hamilton.
Survivors include her daughter, Robin Jolly Hamilton of Ewing, Kentucky, Two sisters, Doris Payne and Ira Conyers both of Carlisle. Two grandchildren, Casey Lee Hamilton and Shannon Hamilton and Ty Littleton. One great-grandson, Dawson Lee Littleton. Also, several other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 22, 2020 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is after 12 Noon Thursday.
Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.
