Nita Cox

Nita Jean Cox, 54, of Maysville, Kentucky formerly of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Saturday August 27, 2022 at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born May 17, 1968 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Eugene Cox and Emma Powers Cox.

Nita was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, taking walks, coloring, and watching movies. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters; Vickie Cox, Annette Cox, and Crystal Buckley, also her life long companion David Gifford.

Survivors include three daughters; April Cox and Kelly Cox both of Ewing and Elizabeth Cox of Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Two sisters Juanita Cox of Louisville and Kay Gary of Indiana. Three grandchildren; Sabrina Henderson, Lilly Cox, and Kennedy Hodge and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M Thursday September 1, 2022 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.

Burial will follow in the Kentontown Cemetery in Robertson County.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Family and Friends will serve as casket bearers.
