Patrick Browning Evans

Patrick Browning Evans, 85 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Perkins Country Manor in Augusta, Kentucky.

He was September 13, 1939, born in Sharpsburg, Kentucky to the late Ray Lewis Evans Sr. and Sylvia Darlene Browning Evans. 

Patrick was a farmer and a former employee of Southern States. He enjoyed fishing, working in the garden and anything that involved being outdoors.  Most of all he loved spending time with his beloved family. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Kearns and two brothers, Ray Lewis Evans Jr and Billy Evans, three sisters, Violet Jolly, Jesse Cooper and Jill Evans.

Survivors include three daughters, Alice Clifford (Tony) of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Danielle Arnold (Jeremy) and Ashley Cline (Daniel) both of Ewing, Kentucky and his honorary daughter, Gracelyn Ring of Paris, five brothers, Joe Evans (Patty), Chuckie (Becky), Kenny Evans (Coffine), Jimmy Evans and Sherman Evans (Mary) all of Carlisle, Kentucky. Sisters: Reba Detro (James) of Maysville, Kentucky, Cherry Hunt of Paris, Kentucky, Faith Eckler (David), Gail Eckler both of Carlisle. Survivors also include twelve grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville, Kentucky with Pastor Greg Grimes officiating. 

Burial will follow at the Elizaville Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Visitation at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville will be from 12 noon - 1:00 PM Wednesday.
