Rosemary Deubel Evans, 84, of Ewing, passed away Thursday evening, February 15, 2018 in the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Point in Maysville.
She was born on February 28, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio, a daughter of the late Fred and Emma Stitt Deubel.
Mrs. Evans was retired from Bluegrass Industries later known as Jockey International after 40 years of service. She helped her husband as bookkeeper at Gene Evans Body Shop in Ewing for many years and had also worked at Kentucky Textiles in Paris. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Evans, who passed away on February 9, 2015, one son, Michael Gene Evans and one brother, William Deubel.
Survivors include one son, Terry Lee Evans (Gloria Arnold) of Ewing, one sister, Joyce Henderson (William) of Cincinnati, Ohio, two grandchildren, Shawna Evans Wyman and Paige Evans, four great-grandchildren, Madison Wyman, Catherine Wyman, Star Wyman and Mercadees Chambers, several nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Gaylord Gillespie officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation is after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Valerie Breen, Larry Breen, William Henderson, Paul Dwayne Stitt, Dale Stitt and Wally Thomas.
