Ruth Pechner
October 30, 1919 — December 12, 2017
Mrs. Ruth Pechner, 98, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky.
Mrs. Pechner had been a resident of Pioneer Trace Nursing Home for several years.
She was born on October 30, 1919 in Graysville, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Edward H. “Creed” Denton and Judy Simpson Denton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan P. Pechner, brothers, Bruce Denton, Woodrow Denton and Malcolm Denton and sisters, Francis Hawkins, Lula Inez Denton and Faye Williamson.
Survivors include one son, James Edward (Shirley) Huston, two grandchildren, Kathryn (Jeff) Dryden and Karen Huston Clare, three great-grandchildren, Jarrod (Amanda) Dryden, Derrick (Cassie) Dryden and Kizann Marie Huston and two great-great-grandsons, Zachary Smith and Burkley Robert Dryden, along with several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date, at the discretion of the family.
The Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville is serving the family.
