Violet Mitchell

Violet Tyree Mitchell, 80, of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Vanceburg Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Elliott County, Kentucky on March 21, 1937, a daughter of the late Luke Tyree and Margaret Whitt Tyree and was the widow of the late Paul Mitchell of Ewing, Kentucky.
Violet is survived by four daughters, Debbie McKee, Peggy Edmond, Bonnie Marshall and Pamela Jackson, eight grandchildren, Shawna Gibson, Matthew Story, Daniel Jackson, Brandy Jackson, Sarah Marshall, Tyler Marshall, David Paul Edmond and Bobby Edmond, twelve great-grandchildren, Violet Gibson, Aubrey Gibson, Preston Gibson, Carter Story, Chloe White, Kole Lippert, Kamden Lippert, Keighley Lippert, Cody Edmond, Lacey Edmond, Zachary Edmond and Jaden Edmond, one brother, Wayne Tyree and two sisters, Bessie Harris and Ruth Schumaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Luke and Margaret Tyree, spouse of 63 years, Paul Mitchell, grandson, Joshua Story, son-in-law, Steve McKee, two sisters, Mable LeClaire and Lorene Sagraves and three brothers, Clayton Tyree, Bernard Tyree and Clifford Tyree.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
