Wilford Ray Allen

Wilford Ray Allen, 50 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at his residence. 

He was born March 31, 1974 in Fleming County, Kentucky a son of Bill Allen and the late Darlene Smoot Allen Hamm.

Wilford enjoyed the outdoors from riding his motorcycle to sitting by a pond casting a fishing pole and camping. 

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one brother, Chester Ray “ Junior” Hamm.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Ann Allen of Maysville, Kentucky; his father, Bill Allen of Ewing, Kentucky; one daughter; two sister, Dreamma Barton of Maysville and Christina Jolley of Ewing; two brothers, Charles Ray Allen of Flemingsburg, Kentucky and Billy Joe Allen (BJ) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky; one step son, Joseph Ray Dodson of Maysville; three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 3, 2025 in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Pastor John Ray Dodson officiating. 

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Friday until the hour of service.

Private family burial will be held later.

Casket bearers will be Billy Joe Allen, Joseph Dodson, Chandler Dodson, Andrew Barton, Bill Allen, Boone Dye, Charles Ray Allen, and Rylee Hamm.

Honorary casket bearers will be Bob Moore and Billy Ray Zornes.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to help the family with funeral expenses.
