William "Wick" Henderson

William “Wick” Henderson, 91, of Norwood, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at his home.

He was born on December 15, 1930 in Robertson County, Kentucky, a son of the late Leslie Calvin Henderson and Bessie Crawford Berry.

Wick was a retired supervisor for a chemical distribution plant and a United States Marine Corps Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict Era.  He was a member of the Teamsters Union and he loved fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce D. Henderson, who passed away on December 11, 2021, one brother, Johnny Henderson and four sisters, Catherine Crawford, Blanche Myers, Leola Henderson and Norma Ruth Campbell.

Survivors include two daughters, Valerie (Larry) Breen of Norwood, Ohio and Diana Henderson of Carlisle, Kentucky, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and his best friend, his beloved cat, Oscar.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 21, 2022 in the Elizaville Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Greg Grimes officiating.

Full military honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the W. N. Fant American Legion Post No. 5 and the Franklin Sousley VFW Post No. 1834.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

There is no visitation.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
