Brian "Cobey" Stuter

Brian “Cobey” Stuter, 23 of Ewing, Kentucky passed away Saturday, June 5th 2021. He was born January 1st 1998 in Fairfax, Virginia at Fort Belvoir Army Hospital.

Cobey graduated from Fleming County High School in 2017 where he was on the football and baseball team. He was known for his light-up the room smile and “live everyday like it was the last” mentality. Cobey would bend over backwards to help anyone and never met a stranger. He was an amazing dad to his two girls and loved spending time with them, just welcoming his second daughter on April 24th.

Cobey is survived by his daughters Maylee Rose and Millie Reese, parents Mike and Stephanie Barbee, his brothers Corey (Becca) of Tupelo, MS, Nicholas, Zain and his favorite sister Abby all of Ewing, nephew Maisen and niece Blakely. Grandparents Violet Barbee of Ewing, Kenny and Shirley Smith of Louisville and Steven and Louise Webb of Smyrna, TN. He leaves behind a friend base that spans from the top to the bottom of the US, numerous adopted moms/dads and more drinking buddies than can be counted.

Cobey was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Debbie Barbee.

A celebration of life is planned for later this month, date to be published later.
