Mrs. Robin Carpenter Mitchell, Age 62 of Flemingsburg, passed away Thursday at the Hospice Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
She was born in Robertson County, Kentucky on July 7, 1957 to the late Robert Edward and Opal Jeanette Hunt Carpenter.
Robin was a former employee of January and Wood in Maysville and Edgemont Manor in Cynthiana. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Allen "Timbo" Mitchell and one daughter Heather Love Carpenter.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy "Timmy" Mitchell of Flemingsburg. Three sons, Justin Mitchell of Flemingsburg, Rocky (Brandi) Mitchell and Harley (Breann) Mitchell all of Carlisle.
Four brothers and three sisters, Beverly Smith and her husband Miller of Ewing, Kentucky, Timmy Carpenter and his wife Amy of Ewing, Libby Lane and her husband James of Decatur, Tennessee, Kim Baker and her husband Randy of Manchester, Ohio, Avery Carpenter of Ewing, Robbie Carpenter and his wife Melinda of Cowan, Kentucky and Steavie Carpenter and his wife Becky of Ewing.
Five grandchildren, Kirsten Herrington, Brody Mitchell, Evan Mitchell, Chloie Mitchell and Braylee Mitchell. Two granddaughters expected this summer, Darci and Willow. Her mother-in-law, Phyllis Mitchell of Carlisle and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home in Elizaville with Rev. Randall Jackson officiating.
Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.
Visitation at the funeral home is after 12 Noon Tuesday.
Serving as pall bearers at the funeral home will be Patrick Mitchell, Damon Jackson, Chris Jackson, Jason Tedder, Brandon Tedder and Jonathon Perry. Serving as pall bearers at the cemetery will be Dakota Tedder, Matt Perry, Codi Mitchell, Matt Smith, Sebastiasn Purvis, Ryan Carpenter and Hunter Carpenter.
