Stanley Gray

Stanley J. Gray, 79, of Ewing, departed this life on Tuesday January 24, 2023, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.

He was born July 9, 1943, in Fleming County, Kentucky to the late Jasper Gray and Jennie Mitchell Gray.

Stanley was a Kentucky Colonel, enjoyed music and played guitar and sang in several country music bands in the area.

He was a retired logger and farmer.

He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Christian Church in Cowan, Kentucky.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Shrout Gray whom passed away February 21, 1995. Four brothers; Cecil R. Gray, Cleve A. Gray, Randall C. Gray and David Gray. One grand-daughter Shambre Jai Bradford.

Survivors include his wife Anita White of Ewing, One daughter Jennifer Gray Weber (Chris) of Maysville, Kentucky, two brothers; Roy Lee Gray of Elizaville, Kentucky and Billy Joe Gray of Flemingsburg, one sister; Patty Evans of Nicholas County, two stepsons; Henry White (Nikki) of Georgetown and Steven White (Tammy) of Mt. Sterling. Five step-grandchildren; Alexa Jackson (Cody), Nicholas White, Max White, Abigail White, and McKenna White. Two great-grandchildren; Grayson Helton and Brynlee Robinson, one great- great- grandchild; Weston Jackson. Several nieces, nephews, family members and friends who will miss him.

Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday January 31, 2023, in the chapel of the Price Brothers Funeral Home with Brother Dean Brewer officiating.

Burial will follow in the Elizaville Cemetery.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M Monday, January 30, 2023, at the funeral home.

Casket Bearers will be Chris Weber, Matt Mers, Jimmy Gray, Jody Gray, Steven White, and Henry White.
